Alright so the next morning we left Brisbane really early and made our journey back to Sydney to Meet me friends at the airport that were finally on their way.  So fast forward through all the driving and actually arriving at the airport.  My three friends Chris, Shawn, and Austin arrived at Sydney Airport after their flight from Dubai.  After getting all their luggage we rented a car and drove to our house that we had rented for our week in Sydney.  We rented a really nice 5 bedroom house in Coogee Beach which had a full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a pool and hot tub, it was well worth the money.  Upon arriving at the house i was immediately drawn to the trophy room the owner had, he had souvenirs from Lance Armstrong, Mike Tyson, Tiger Woods, and much more.
After a quick shower and unpacking our luggage we ventured out into downtown Sydney to eat dinner and meet with Tommy (a friend of mine who lives their who i had met in Lake Tahoe while he was over seas working at a ski resort) and check out some of the local clubs.  We went to a really nice restaurant and each had decided to try something different, which i had ordered the kangaroo since it was pretty much a once in a lifetime thing for me.  I thought that it had tasted fantastic, kinda like lamb.  After that we left and headed for Ivy Bar which was amazing!  We only waited in line about 5 minutes, and once we got in their the atmosphere was very relaxing and chill.  The dance floor had huge open area in the ceiling to let all the air in so you wouldn't get to hot dancing around, and there was a really nice lounge area next to it so you could just kick back and relax.  We finally made it back home and passed out instantly and we were excited for what kind of adventures we in store for us the rest of the trip.

After leaving Coff's Harbour we drove up to Brisbane to meet a family friend who is going to school there and to stay for the night before making our way back down to Sydney in the morning.  We met up with our friend Yasmin and went out to eat at a turkish restaurant and try some of the beer.  The meal was delicious, and we headed to the ferry boat before heading back to the hotel to catch up on some sleep.  While waiting for the ferry i decided to try and take some photos of the city Skyline with my Go Pro camera which turned out fairly well.

Australia Continued...

My friends and I decided to travel to Australia the last week of August since that was their last week of deployment, and they wanted to travel to a new place.  So My dad, his friend, and I flew to Sydney, Australia a week before my friends would arrive.  We landed at the airport August 14th, rented a car and began our journey up the gold coast to Brisbane to visit a family friend, and then we would drive back down to Sydney a week later to meet up with my friends that  were flying in from Dubai.  The first leg on our journey we drove up to Port Macquarie where we stayed for the night, the next day we woke up early and drove to Coff's Harbour where we ate lunch and explored a bit.
